AIG’s Facultative Desk was established in Miami in early 2019 to offer our clients “assumed facultative¨ reinsurance solutions. In 2023 the FAC Desk expanded its footprint with the opening of a rep office in Colombia (NUFIC Oficina de Representación) to better serve our regional brokers and clients with Property, Casualty, Environmental, Marine, Financial Lines, Cyber, Energy, and Political Violence risks in Latin America and the Caribbean.
AIG’s global expertise combined with our regional market knowledge and backed by a highly experienced team of underwriting, claims, and risk control professionals, positions AIG’s FAC Desk as a meaningful partner in providing reinsurance solutions to our clients. Our closeness to the Latin America and the Caribbean markets and our understanding of how external factors impact each line of business enable us to recognize trends in the risk landscape and develop innovative reinsurance solutions for each client.
